Setting Goals for the Toastmaster Year
What is a goal without a deadline? …Just a dream.
Toastmasters wants you not only to dream big, but to also achieve those dreams.
Achievement happens over time, in small, incremental, and compounding steps. Whether a personal, or an organizational goal, deadlines help drive us forward by focusing the mind on the time available. It is this focus that makes planning possible. The bigger the goal, the more time may be required to achieve it, and the more steps and manageable “sub-goals” we may need to break it down into.
The goal of Division C is to build new clubs, and support all our clubs – and in turn, their members – in achieving excellence. Toastmasters sets annual goals for all levels in the organization to reach. These goals help us better our clubs, our organization, and most importantly – ourselves.
The countdown timer below shows the time remaining in this Toastmasters Year, to achieve distinguished recognition for our efforts in reaching our goals. What will you accomplish?
